Small balloon - great effect
This new minimal invasive technology uses a small, flexible
Sinus Balloon Catheter to open up blocked sinus passageways
in order to restore the normal drainage and function of the
sinus. The ostium is gently restructured and widened by the
inflated balloon while preserving the integrity of the delicate
sinus lining.
Balloon dilation is performed by qualified Ear, Nose and Throat
physicians. It may be performed as single therapy or in combination
with other medical treatments or conventional sinus
surgery (hybrid procedure).
Balloon dilation is a proven technology which has been used
in cardiology for more than thirty years to open up blocked or
sclerotic vessels (angioplasty).
